After you have figured out the trading name for your business and the legal form, the next step is to actually register your business in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce (KVK). Chamber of Commerce works together with the tax office (belastingdienst) and in a couple of days after Chamber of Commerceregistration you will receive per mail the VAT (BTW) number from the tax office.
During registration you will be asked for the following information:
